It Friday night here in hollister and SdM 2010 is already on the way to being the biggest event ever! Syncros from far and wide are still coming in and so far it’s been a blast! Stay tuned for more pics and videos from this years event!
Big Coolers Needed – We need about 3 more BIG coolers for the Saturday Night Dinner. Please bring yours if you have one.
Minimize Our Waste – We will provide paper plates, paper cups and plastic flatware for the Dinner, but if you can bring your own reusable dishes and utensils we can make this event a little greener. We will have dish soap and sponges at the sink for you to clean up afterwards.
Potluck – There is traditionally a pot-luck aspect to the Saturday dinner at Syncro de Mayo. Please bring a side dish, dessert, fancy salad, appetizer, or other food to share if you can. We will be providing grilled tri-tip, chicken, and portabello mushrooms, also green salad, boiled corn, and french bread.
Vegetarians – If you are a vegetarian try to get to the dinner a little early so you are assured of getting one of the grilled parmesan portabellos.
If you’ve been sitting on the fence about camping at Syncro de Mayo 2010 then it’s time to get off the fence and register NOW!
Registration for camping closes on April 30th and everyone must be paid by that date as well. So if you register between now and tomorrow you will need to pay with Paypal.
Day Visitors do not need to register and can pay at the gate.
GoWesty is cooking up all sort of fun events for this years Syncro de Mayo!
This friday night extravaganza starts at 5pm with a piñata event for the niños. Then at 6pm get ready for the “Salsa de la Mejor” where you can bring you “A” game in salsa creation for a chance to win a $100 GoWesty gift certificate! Syncro salsa chefs should pre-register for this event by sending an email to jad@gowesty.com. Then after all is said and done and the sun starts to set bring your favorite 100% Agave Tequila and enjoy a “Tequila Sunset” toast & taste with other syncronauts and the GoWesty gang.
